Minecraft Dungeons UI Redesign

About the Project
This is the final culminating project for my participation in ELVTR’s UX/UI Design for Gaming program. This project evaluates the players’ behaviour and decision making process in order to inform the UI redesign for Minecraft Dungeons. The purpose of this project is to apply my UX and UI design knowledge to conduct user research, create wireframes, and adapt a new visual design style to the Minecraft Dungeons UI design.

Challenges
  • Short turn around time for each stage of the project
  • No access to game designers, assets, or users for Minecraft Dungeons, so all information was gathered through my observations and research
  • Limited access to art and visual resources used in high-fidelity designs
